For your tender file

Banks, hotel groups and public bodies ask in their tenders for certifications, codes of conduct and reports. This is how we provide them:

  1. You tell us what the tender asks for

Which standards, for which garments and for how many people. A line in the form's message or a call is enough.

  2. We send the documentation with the proposal

For every model we propose, the manufacturer's certificate or statement, from the documents on this page.

  3. Your file is complete

If the committee asks for anything more, we request it from the manufacturer.

Need the certificates for a tender or a contract?

Write in the message which standards your tender asks for. We will reply with the certificates of the models we propose, together with our proposal.

What the terms mean

What is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100?

An independent testing system for textiles and clothing, for substances harmful to health. Every component of the product is tested, from the yarn to the buttons and threads, against limits that are often stricter than the law. Annex 6 sets stricter limits still, and product class 1 is the strictest grade, the one that applies to articles for babies.

What is the difference between OEKO-TEX® STeP and STANDARD 100?

STANDARD 100 certifies the product: that the garment contains no harmful substances above the limits. STeP certifies the company and its production sites: chemical management, environmental performance, social responsibility, quality and safety at work. For a tender, the first answers "what we wear" and the second "how it was made".

What does a manufacturer's ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification mean for you?

ISO 9001 means the manufacturer's processes, from design to delivery, are documented, measured and improved, and that an independent accredited body verifies it. ISO 14001 means the same for the environmental impact of its activities. The certificate number, the body and the expiry date are printed on the document, so a tender committee can verify that it is valid.

What is the EU Ecolabel?

The official ecolabel of the European Union, awarded to products with a reduced environmental impact across their life cycle. For textiles it sets limits on hazardous substances, requirements for fibre production and dyeing, and durability tests such as colour fastness and resistance to shrinking.

What are a SMETA audit and the ETI Base Code?

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the most widely used ethical trade audit methodology: an independent auditor visits the factory and examines working conditions, health and safety, the environment and business ethics. The ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) Base Code is the yardstick: nine principles based on the conventions of the International Labour Organization, such as freely chosen employment, no child labour, living wages and reasonable hours, and no discrimination.

What is amfori BSCI?

A European business initiative for social compliance in the supply chain. Its members commit to a common code of conduct for their suppliers outside the EU, and production sites are audited against it.

What is the GRS (Global Recycled Standard)?

An international standard that certifies the recycled content of a material and its traceability at every processing stage, with social, environmental and chemical requirements for the sites that process it. A fabric of GRS recycled polyester has a documented origin, not just a claim.

What do the EN ISO 20347 and EN ISO 20345 footwear standards mean?

EN ISO 20347 is the European standard for occupational footwear, without a toe cap, and EN ISO 20345 for safety footwear, with a toe cap that withstands a 200 joule impact. Both define slip-resistance tests for the sole: the SR marking (or SRA, SRB and SRC in the older edition) shows which floors it was tested on.

Does Endyma Ikos provide the certificates for a tender or a contract?

Yes. Together with our proposal we provide the certificates and statements of each manufacturer for the models we propose. The documents are issued in the manufacturer's name, as the certified party, and are in English; Endyma Ikos is its exclusive distributor in Greece.

The facts on this page come from each manufacturer's own publications and were checked on 7 October 2026. The certifications belong to the manufacturers; Endyma Ikos provides them as their exclusive distributor in Greece.
